The D-Type is a medium-size cylinder (~3.76 m³ capacity) suitable for small workshops and moderate usage. The Jumbo cylinder (also called J-Type or Industrial) holds significantly more gas (~7–8 m³) and is more economical for high-consumption industrial users.

The cylinder body is the same, but the gas purity and regulatory approval differs. Medical oxygen requires 99%+ purity and specific certifications. Commercial/industrial oxygen is 99.5%+ purity but may not meet medical grade requirements. We recommend keeping medical and commercial cylinders separate.

As per PESO regulations, oxygen cylinders must be hydrostatic pressure tested every 5 years. We can advise you on your cylinder's test date — please check the stamp on the cylinder shoulder.
